Yoga postures to Increase Concentration

Just one month is left for CBSE Exam. Are you looking for remedies to get rid of anxiety and stress? Try some yoga postures. The yoga postures help in boosting concentration level and confidence. Recommended postures are listed below.

Padmasana:

Padmasana is best to relax and calm your mind. A very helpful asana to sharpen memory. Sit on the floor with cross leg position. Now place your right hand on right knee and left a hand on left knee with palms facing the ceiling. Make sure palms down. Close your eyes to concentrate. Relax.

Vrikshasan:

Stand tall and straight on the floor. Bend the right leg at knee and raise the right thigh. Raise the sole of the right foot as high as possible and place in the left thigh. Now balance yourself. Lift your both the hands up, bring then in salutation position. In this position, take the breath from nostrils. After completing ten breaths bring your hands down and return to normal standing position. Repeat this posture with opposite leg. Relax.

Vajrasana:

Sit on your knees. Let your thighs rest on the calves of both legs.  From the knee to toe, your legs should be parallel to each other. You upper part of the body and face should be straight. Your Knee should touch the ground. Place your left hand on the left knee and right hand on the right knee. Close your eyes and concentrate for a few minutes. Relax

Paschimottanasana:

Sit on the floor with straight leg and hands placed on the floor beside the body. Bend the upper body towards the thighs. Lean your body against the thighs and bring both the hands towards the legs to touch toes.  Be in this position for a few minutes. Relax.
