WHY PRIVATE TUITION IS HELPFUL

All children deserve a good education. It does not matter where they live, how much money their parents make, or from what strata of society they come. In our country today, children most of the time seem to suffer due to lack of attention from their parents. They might come from any income group. Parents do not seem to get time for their children as they are struggling against odds and ends of modern life to keep things going smoothly for their family.

As a parent, you may opt a home tutor for private tuition to assist your child in learning. It would be to give closer attention to the needs of your child than is possible in a classroom. Private tuition caters to your requirements at your convenient time. Home tuition can raise the level of performance in school . It can help a child to increase his/ her confidence and starts enjoying their school subjects.

Students of the same class come from different environments. They assimilate and remember at various speeds and develop at distinctive rates, are receptive to particular styles of teaching, different emotional and social problems also impact them. They are not recording machines in which technicians use some standard method to input knowledge.

In school, a single teacher teaches many students, besides of having to fulfill other duties. He/She may be well trained and dedicated, but there is only so much he can do. A qualified and caring personal private tutor is a must for many, especially in languages and mathematics.

A student will have the advantage of a teacher concentrate on him/her without diversion, with the lesson plans and strategies of teaching designed just for him! One cannot question the enormous benefits this offers. In a classroom, one teacher has to deal with forty pupils, each with different abilities. So custom made teaching style for every student is impossible. They have to follow a standard teaching method.

In such a circumstance it is possible for the student to fail to grasp a particular point. Even the best of teachers might miss the sign of a misunderstanding of one pupil, hidden amongst so many other faces. On the student’s part to show lack of understanding can be embarrassing: everyone else is silent, so they must have understood. Why should I draw attention to myself? Many times the misconception remains unexpressed and abandoned. The apparent benefit of one to one tuition is that the tutor can adopt a teaching style best suited for his/her student. They can gauge the level of the pupil’s perceptive, and, can track down the source and effectively eradicate the confusion. Away from the tumult of the classroom, the student is confident enough to voice his/ her difficulties. Also having just one pupil to deal with, the teacher is more relaxed and gives their cent percent to that ward.

Many tutors are willing to travel to the pupil’s home, allowing them the benefit of learning from the coziness of their home.A tutor can focus on a particular area, for example, the pupil may be comfortable in mathematics, but might find calculus little hard. This specific weakness may undermine his/ her confidence in the subject. Even if the pupil’s performance is good in school or college, private tuition gives an edge over their peers.
Parents are paying for a teacher’s undivided attention because they believe it will give their children an advantage.

There are specific scenarios when private tuitions are a must. For example:

* If the number of children per class is high, students may need additional help to finish the syllabus the school is not likely to teach.
* Parents do not have the time or are not equipped to give the students the necessary help at home.
* Students who are already good at school and want that extra push to help them climb from scoring 85% to scoring above 92%.
* When the teacher is not great in imparting the concepts to suit the students.
